Competition Roundup July - Oct 2012Now after the Gala, we catch up on what some of our fencers have achieved in the past few months. The club salutes them for flying the Z flag! Congrats to Jet Ng for winning Cadet Men's Foil Bronze, and Nicole Wong Cadet Women's Foil Bronze at the Australia Championships 2012 - July Our cadet national fencer Jet Ng wins the bronze at this event as the top performing Singaporean, Nicholas Choong achieving a top 8, and Yau Han Xiang top 16, Gordon Koh top 32. For womens foil, national cadet fencers Nicole Wong wins a bronze and Aarya top16 in 9th position. Congrats to Aarya Berthier for winning Women's Foil Bronze at Thai Open (Senior Event) - Sept. Our 13 yr old cadet national fencer Aarya Berthier won a hard fought bronze medal in the Thai Open, an open senior event. Amazing Aarya! Nicole Wong, came in Top 8. Click here for more results. |

U14 Adds to Medal Haul of 7 Golds for Minime 20122 Gold Medals in Foil Completes Sweep of U10, U12 & U14 Boys and Girls Titles. Congrats to the U14 Z Fencers who competed two weekends ago. The final two gold medals in foil created history for Z – a complete sweep of all Foil Individual titles across the age groups including U10, U12 and U14 - for both boys and girls! A Heroic Effort & Golden Haul by our ZKeteers at Minime 2012!The Singapore U10 & U12 Minime Champs sees our Kids in Action clinching 5 GOLD Medals Our young Zketeers were thick in action at the Minime championships. All showed marked improvement and fought with focus and determination, resulting in a record haul for the club. Congrats to all. Z Fencers won 5 out of the 5 events we entered (6 events in total):

Presenting the first ever Z1 - SJI Junior Fencing Festival 2012Come join us on the 30th June 2012 (Saturday), from 9am to 12 noon, at SJI Junior. Organized by Z1 Pro-Fencing and hosted by SJI Junior, the festival will be an enriching and fun-filled event, specifically designed for ages 12 and below. 2012 National Inter-Schools Competition sees Z Fencers securing largest medal haul.Congrats to our Z Fencers, coaches and their schools for the highest medal haul with a total of 23 medals - 3 Golds, 5 Silvers and 15 Bronzes! Every one out of three medals contested was secured by a Z Fencer. In addition, over half of the medals (12), were achieved by our youngest fencers in the C Division, promising a strong pipeline of future champions for Z.
